Loved seeing Refinery29’s feature on my ‘hood, Temescal in North Oakland. Yay!
I’ve lived in this area for the last 2 years and I still have a crush on the neighborhood. It’s getting more hip (by the hour), but hasn’t lost that “rough-around-the-edges” feel that I like.

I am SO excited about Cup4Cup, a new all purpose, gluten-free flour courtesy of Chef Lena Kwak and Thomas Keller (of French Laundry fame, mkay?).
I can’t wait to try it using their own vanilla cupcake recipe!
